Panmure Golf Club

Panmure Golf Club, near Carnoustie in Angus, is one of Scotland's oldest and most esteemed golf clubs, established in 1845. Although a links course, it features unique aspects, being a mile from the sea with beautiful trees lining many holes, creating an unusual backdrop.

The course, designed by Old Tom Morris and refined by James Braid, stretches to 6,511 yards from the championship tees. It has traditional links characteristics: firm, fast fairways, deep bunkers, and undulating greens, demanding strategic thinking and precise shot-making with hazards like gorse and heather.

Panmure is rich in history and connected to legendary golfer Ben Hogan, who practiced here before his 1953 Open Championship win at Carnoustie. The "Hogan Hole," the 6th, commemorates his legacy.

The clubhouse exudes timeless elegance, offering panoramic course views and traditional Scottish hospitality. Panmure Golf Club is a beloved destination, blending stern golfing challenges with deep historical connections.
