A new brand partnership

Scotland, Where Golf Began is delighted to confirm a new sponsorship agreement with TaylorMade Golf. This is an exciting opportunity that will support the creation of new content on our digital channels and allow us to have a bigger presence, promoting our brand in front of a wider audience.

The sponsorship began with support for a series of short films at each of the seven Open Championship in Scotland celebrating the 150th staging of the event at St Andrews.

We wanted to support their efforts in showcasing Scotland’s golf courses by aligning our brands and collaborating on content.

Scotland is the no.1 destination for most international golfers and we wanted to insert our brand into content showcasing all the fantastic venues the country has to offer. They were also central to us organising and developing our “Trottie Does Scotland” series and Barstool/Foreplay’s travel series too. Their knowledge, connections and relentless efforts in making this happen was crucial to the success of our content.”
