Erik Anders Lang's Aberdeenshire Scotland Itinerary

In 2018 we asked Erik Anders Lang and his crew to come to Scotland to film a new series. The Official Unofficial Golf Guide to Scotland became a global hit with over 1.5 million views to date. The guys would go on to play 24 courses in 16 days! Here is part 5 - The north east coast of Aberdeenshire.

Have you ever thought about taking that same tour of Scotland? Or perhaps parts of it? Well, let us break it down into some mini tours and give you a sample of Erik’s itinerary in each area he visited. Let’s get things moving now to Aberdeenshire on the north east coast where their journey continues in part 5.

DAY 1

Check into Macleod House at Trump International Golf links. Morning tee time at Murcar Links, a lesser known links in the area that should not be missed! Afternoon tee time right next door at Royal Aberdeen which boasts probably the finest front 9 in golf. Dinner that night can only be one place, at Erik’s caddies fish and chip shop called the Garioch just north of Aberdeen.

DAY 2

Tee time at Cruden Bay, this incredible Old Tom Morris course has dunes that go on for miles. After golf, some food and a pint at The Kilmarnock Arms in the village. This is were Bram Stoker got his inspiration for his Dracula books!

DAY 3

Tee time at Trump Aberdeen. You have to see the course to believe it!

There are so many other great courses in the area like Stonehaven, Fraserburgh and Peterhead to name just a few.
