The Un/official Golf Guide to Scotland EP. 8

The Old Course, St. Andrews Links, The Home of Golf. Erik Anders Lang and the crew visit St Andrews to pay homage to the game we all love. What the crew doesn't know (well...just Stuart) is that the boys have a tee time on The Old Course thanks to American transplant Rob Ogle. You see, Stuart grew up in Scotland (Glasgow to be exact) and his family would vacation to the town of St. Andrews every year.

Stuart's dad was an avid golfer at the time, but Stuart had just started to dabble in the game. Stuart and his family later moved to Australia and neither of them ever got the chance to play The Old Course. So this was our chance.

Stuart was coming back to Scotland with us for the first time in years and his dad (randomly! like...seriously a week before hand they were on the phone and figured out they were on the same flight back) had planned a trip back home at the same time for a wedding. We hatched this grand idea of surprising Stu with a round on The Old Course AND having his dad meet us on the first tee for the double-whammy. It could not have been more beautiful. Thanks Rob!
