Have you ever thought about taking that same tour of Scotland? Or perhaps parts of it? Well, let us break it down into some mini tours and give you a sample of Erik’s itinerary in each area he visited. Let’s get things moving now to Fife on the east coast where their journey continues in part 3.

DAY 1

Check in at the Old Manor Hotel, a great place to stay in the Fife area and away from the higher prices of St Andrews. Morning tee time at Leven Links, golf has been played at Leven since 1820. A late lunch at the Ship Inn in Elie is a must, especially when choosing the fish and chips!

DAY 2

Mid Morning tee time at Kingsbarns Golf Links, a modern Kyle Phillips designed links course that plays host each year to the Dunhill Cup. When at Kingbarns a little visit next door to the Kingsbarns Distillery is a must. The guys had too much golf to play for this but its worth considering none the less.

DAY 3

Tee time at Scotscraig, the world’s 13th oldest golf club. An inland links thats played host to Open Qualifying in the past. Spend the evening in St Andrews, go visit the Jigger Inn or the Dunvegan and soak up that atmosphere.

DAY 4

It’s the big one! Morning tee time at The Old Course. It needs no introduction, does it? Now, just like the guys be sure and visit the many golf shops around the town to pick up some goodies in preparation for your round. You have to look the part when playing the Old Course.
